In future posts, as noted then, I’ll draw on archival and other materials and on interviews with some of the teachers and others who lived through and had to deal with the anti-communist-era New York Board of Education investigation and its impact on their lives.  In their own words, you’ll learn their views on the politics of the investigations, and their feelings about the children they taught.
