About

I’m a long-time freelance writer, editor, and photographer. I’m also a red diaper baby. I’m now researching the mid-20th century anti-communist investigations of teachers in New York City, along with what happened to other civil servants in my hometown and to mid-level municipal employees  in many other cities across the country during the anti-communist hysteria of those times. There’s more about me, and about my parents, who were caught up in those New York investigations,  at  http://www.dreamersandfighters.com/cob/doc-harbatkin.aspx

The Dreamers & Fighters web site (www.dreamersandfighters.com) has a lot of the history, plus information about a planned documentary.

I listened to the Christmas Epic meassge and thought it very insightful. Many unchurched people at least sense there is some kind of hope associated with the celebration of Christmas. But I think even we Christians underestimate the significance, that as Isaiah wrote The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined Once again, a good meassge!
